Donny Broussard
Writer/Producer/Director
Donny is an educator and filmmaker with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. He produced the feature films, The Shelter, Sunday Girl, and Maybe Shower. His documentary film, Little Houses aired on the Documentary Channel and played in theaters across the south. His work on the award-winning short films, Red Hours, Caffeinated, and Day Trippers allows him to stretch his creative muscles. He co-produced the feature film Presence, and line produced the upcoming fetaure film Pointe Noire.
He has been a jury member of the Other Worlds Film Festival screenwriting competition from 2021-2022, and served on the jury of the Zombie Safehouse Competition.
When he’s not making films or teaching, he’s writing. Along with his wife, Erin, he contributed a story to Hell Comes to Hollywood: Volume 2 (available in most bookstores), and wrote and published the comic series, Vamped. Donny is currently working on a feature documentary and producing the short film, Spooky Crew.
